Some members of the Springbok rugby team traded in their match jerseys for coaching jerseys on Wednesday, 28 September 2016, as they took time to share some skills with possible future professional rugby players.

There is great excitement at the College with the 13th Annual Sports and Cultural Festival happening from Friday to Sunday, 16 - 18 September 2016 at St Peter’s College. 3,000 participants, 45 schools, plus parents, friends and families will be on campus to enjoy a feast of activities including: Soccer, Basketball, Netball, Chess, Music, Pavement Art, Debating, Public Speaking, Dance, Drama, Photography, Equestrian and even an Entrepreneurs Market. Come along and enjoy the fun with us!

This past Sunday morning saw the PA organised St Peter’s Schools Fun Run & Walk hosted on the Prep Schools campus for the first time.

St Peter's College wins the inter-high gala

The A League Inter-High Gala took place on Wednesday, 2 March at Ellis Park. Tough competition was the order of the day between Crawford Sandton, Northcliff High, Crawford Lonehill, Trinity House, RandPark High and St Peter’s College. The spirit amongst the schools was phenomenal during the gala which proved to be neck-on-neck to the final race.
In the end, St Peter’s College took the winning trophy.

White Blazer awarded for highest achievement

Well done and congratulations to Caitlin Crow who was presented with the revered White Blazer at the 2015 Academic Prize-Giving ceremony on 26 January 2016. Caitlin has achieved honours in academics, sports (swimming), cultural (newspaper) and completed all her social responsibility commitments. Caitlin is in Grade 12 and is also a prefect.

College hosts the biggest girls water polo tournament in SA

St Peter’s College hosted the 12th annual Old Petrian’s water polo tournament from 19 February – 21 February 2016 for open girls. twenty eight schools across the country and one from Zimbabwe participated in the prestigious event at the Wahoo Aquatics centre and St Peter’s Girls Prep’s pool. Water polo is a highly competitive sport, and it was pleasing to see so many schools encouraging their girls to excel in the game. The support for the game is growing and incredible talent was on display at the tournament.
