Our busiest students are our most successful students.
We know that some of life's most important lessons are not learned in the classroom; everyone needs to learn the importance of winning and losing with equal grace and dignity. Exposure to competitive activity, whether on the playing fields or across a chess board, helps hone our interpersonal skills.
It is the policy of St Peter’s College to expose all our students to a wide range of sporting activities and options, and at times, to propel them into the experience. This is achieved by providing an afternoon sports and cultural programme that offers a variety of activities on a cyclical basis throughout the year. The involvement of all our students in these codes as well as Inter-House competitions is compulsory.
We offer a number of co-curricular sporting activities for your child to enjoy:
- Athletics (road running and cross-country)
- Cricket (and Cricket Scoring)
- Golf (provided there are sufficient players)
- Water Polo
